My Fabulous Day Formal Fashion Week
My Fabulous Day Retailers enjoyed a fun filled week in Atlanta at Formal Fashion Week! The week was filled with exciting new tuxedo lines and awesome new accessories from companies like Jean Yves, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis, Joseph Abboud and more!
We also hosted a Black Tie Gala with the International Prom Association benefiting the USO with over 300 people in attendance!! The charity gala raised over $12,000!! Can you say FABULOUS????!!!!!
The My Fabulous Day Retailers are definitely having a hard job narrowing these wonderful styles down to showcase in their stores. So get ready for prom and wedding shopping and many amazing styles for you to decide from in creating the look that is uniquely yours for 2012!

Formal Fashion Week features Black Tie Gala
Southern Independent Formalwear Association and International Prom Association are proud to take part in the inaugural initiative of International Promise Foundation.International Promise Foundation was created as a means of giving back directly to the concerns of our industry's social audience. Much discussion and consideration have gone into our first initiative that evolves around the service families of nearly 2.5 million armed service members. Each of these families bare one common thread that links them directly to us all, teen children. In the, anything but normal, lifestyles that teenagers face everyday, those of service families face the added pressures of deployments, relocations, separations and even broken families. That is why International Promise Foundation has chosen the USO and its teen outreach our first initiative. The USO reaches out to these teens of military families through various social networks and web based technology.
The initiative will kick off with our Black Tie Gala on Tuesday, August 16, 6pm til 9pm at AmericasMart Atlanta. A combination of the talent of the USO Liberty Bells, Annual Retailers Choice Awards, Silent Auction Benefit, and the elegance of the Black Tie Gala will make this event a wonderful addition to Formal Fashion Week 2012.

Sherri Hill's Fabulous Night!!!
21-year-old auburn-haired Sherri Hill model won the Miss USA crown Sunday night and will represent the nation in this year's Miss Universe pageant. Alyssa Campanella of Los Angeles topped a field of 51 beauty queens to take the title at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. She strutted across the stage in a dark turquoise Sherri Hill evening gown! What a Fabulous night for Alyssa & the entire team at Sherri Hill! Congrats!!

Ready, Set...It's Time!
Are you ready? Is the BIG day here? The dress is altered check, the tuxedos are ordered check, the hair appointment is scheduled check, and accessories are perfect check, what's left? Well, as we all know flowers, location, transportation...the list goes on and on. We just wanted to say remember slow down and don't worry the wedding will go on without a hitch, or at least no would will probably notice if you don't make a big deal out of it. The key to a perfect wedding is to plan the event, have a great coordinator to carry out the plans and then relax and have fun. This should be a happy time in your life and not a reality show drama. Remember once the night is over you are going to be left with the memories and so are your guest so make them memorable for all the right reasons!
